The Glass Girl

In a town with a sea-glass-covered beach, local legend says that if lightning strikes on the first day of summer, it will create a person with sea-glass bones. That’s Adeline. She appears and is taken in by Catherine, a lonely woman who lives in a broken lighthouse, who vows to keep this fragile girl safe no matter what. The problem is, the more Adeline learns about the world around her, the less she wants to be protected from its ups and downs.
